Share
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs (about 1 kg) chicken wings
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice
- 1 tbsp sesame oil (optional, for aroma)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger (optional)
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes or sriracha (optional, for a spicy kick)
- Water as needed to thin the sauce
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions:
-
Make the marinade:
In a bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, honey (or sugar), vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes. Add 1–2 tbsp water to loosen the sauce if it's too thick. -
Marinate the wings:
Toss the chicken wings in the marinade until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight is ideal). -
Cook the wings:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the wings out evenly and bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway. Brush with any extra marinade during the last 10 minutes for extra caramelization. -
Garnish and serve:
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot, with lime wedges if desired.
